Background of the project

It was a B2B website in a niche segment where only a few big players had captured the market. The traffic potential for such a market is low but each converted lead is worth thousands of dollars if not lakhs.

What we did

Here is the complete process that we followed to revive the website and scale it for organic lead generation:

1. Website Restoration

The first step was to recover the website from an old backup. We connected with the Hosting provider and got the website up and working. 

2. Technical Fixes

The website was recovered but had various issues with already-published content and website structure. Some content pieces got corrupted and many internal links were also leading to spam websites.

We analyzed the website, listed all the major technical issues, and fixed them by collaborating with the website managers and writers.

2. Content Strategy

After fixing all the technical issues, we started planning the content including the blog articles and landing pages.

It started with researching the audience, looking for queries that the audience was looking for, and segmenting the queries based on their intent, requirements, and more.

Then we created content briefs for each and every page that we wanted to publish. This allowed the writers to craft quality content based on the provided guidelines.

3. Content Publishing

The writers prepared the content and then they were published regularly on the website. 

We decided to publish around 20+ landing pages based on the keyword research we performed. Each of the landing pages targeted a particular product type that the client was offering.

Also, the landing pages had enough content to describe the products, testimonials showcasing product quality and trust, and call-to-action items to generate leads.
